A US F3K Team Qualifier / ESL Contest

Event:
The Long Island Silent Flyers would like to welcome everyone to their annual hand launch glider contest (an AMA and ESL Sanctioned event).   We will be following 2010 F3K rules as closely as possible.   2010 F3K rules can be found by clicking here. Alterations to the F3K rules can be found via the menu link above.

One pilot per channel - Contact Frank to handle frequency conflicts. No one will be turned away! Register at the ESL website (Link at the top of the page. Not an ESL member? Sign Up Here for Free!). There will be no on field registration. You can pay for your registration either by mailing a check or at the field. Make checks payable to the 'Long Island Silent Flyers'

CHANNEL 57 is banned due to interference

We will be having 2 - one day contests. Each contest could gain you 1/2 a qualifier point. 1 point is needed to attend team selections.

Lunch typically consists of heroes( Italian and American), and salad (macaroni, potato and cole slaw) each day for a fee of $5/day.  Please notify us of special diets.  We will make accommodations.

In years past we tend to have breaks after every 2-3 rounds to recoup. We will try to maintain a more moderately paced contest. We'll aim for at least 3 groups to allow for some extra down time. Come and join us for some fun!!
