Special Events

Special events are those radio control flying events that are attended by the members of more than one club or that are open to the general public. Examples are the WRAM Show, the Levittown RC Flea Market, the Whitman Flyers RC Swap Meet, the Northeast Electric Aircraft Technology (NEAT) Fair, National Model Aviation Day Fly-In, Nassau Flyers All Electric Fly-In, Indoor Flying In The Lindenhurst Bubble, the Eastern Soaring League contests hosted at LISF, Flying High Again and all RC club flying events where others are invited.

Events like regular club meetings and club contests for club members aren’t by this definition special events.

Here are links to flyers and websites for special events coming in the near future. Some local clubs add and update their event information on their web sites as their event dates are approached. Their web sites are the sources we use for this listing. So for more timely and accurate event information go to the sponsoring club’s event web page.
